The WinterKids.com guarantee ensures that every item you purchase at WinterKids.com meets your high standards or you can return it for a replacement or refund. Shopping is "Risk Free" at WinterKids.com.  WinterKids.com has been outfitting children for outdoor adventurers for over a decade and in that time, we have learned a lot about what makes gear great.   We not only guarantee the products we sell, we also guarantee that every transaction you make on the WinterKids.com site will be safe and secure.

Exchange and Return Policies

Our 100% guarantee ensures that every item you purchase at WinterKids.com meets your high standards or you can return it for a replacement or refund.  All merchandise that is returned or exchanged must be in pristine condition, not worn, in original packaging and with all tags still attached.  WinterKids reserves the right to refuse returns or exchanges if above conditions are not met. WinterKids also reserves the right to charge up to a 15% restock fee if items are not in original packaging with all tags attached.  Items will not be accepted for return or exchange after 5 months of the invoice date. 
 
Free Exchanges: If you would like to Exchange your merchandise for any reason, please follow these simple steps.

  1. Clearly write on your invoice the item(s) you would like to exchange.  Please also include the color, size and quantity of the new item(s) you wish to receive.  If you cannot send your invoice, please include your order number and the first and last name in which the order was billed.  The shipping back to WinterKids.com is the customer's responsibility, please choose the shipping method most convenient for you.

  2. Create your Shipping Label here, tape it to your package, and drop it off at the nearest UPS location to you.  You may also use any other shipping method of your choice.  However, we cannot pay for any other method or guarantee it.  Free Exchanges are currently only available within the Continental United States.  WinterKids.com's shipping labels can only be used within the Continental United States.
     
  3. Insure your package and mail to:

  4. WinterKids will pay for the UPS Ground or U.S. Priority Mail shipping back to you within the U.S. 
     
Easy Returns: If you would like to Return your merchandise for any reason, please follow these simple steps.
 
You may return your WinterKids purchase within 30 Days of the invoice date for a full refund of the merchandise. If a return is received after 30 days, a 15% restock fee will be applied to your credit card used for original purchase or upon request a website credit will be issued which is valid for one year.  If items are returned between 3 and 5 months after the invoice date, a 15% restock fee applies and the remaining balance will be issued for website credit valid for one year from the issued date.  Items will not be accepted for return or exchange after 5 months of the invoice date. 
 
  1. Please send your returned merchandise along with a written explanation on your invoice. If you cannot send your invoice, please include your order number and the first and last name in which the order was billed. The shipping back to WinterKids.com is a $6.95 cost for returns if using WinterKids.com's UPS shipping label.  The $6.95 cost will be deducted from the amount you are returning for refund.

  2. Create your Shipping Label here, tape it to your package, and drop it off at the nearest UPS location to you.  You may also use any other shipping method of your choice.  However, we cannot guarantee any other shipping method.  WinterKids.com's shipping labels can only be used within the Continental United States.
     
  3. Insure your package and mail to:

International Exchanges and Returns:
 
Please follow the above steps with the addition of the following steps. Following these steps will help speed up the process of international exchanges and returns.
 
  1. Please use HTS code 9801.00.2500 on the return customs commercial invoice on the outside of the box.
     
  2. Include “returned product not for resale” in description field on the outside of the box.
     
  3. Please reference on the return customs commercial invoice the original UPS tracking number sent to you by email at the time we originally shipped your package, if you do not know this number, please email us at support@winterkids.com with your order number or name on the "Bill To" address on your order and we can provide it to you.
     
  4. Any fees charged by a shipping courier to WinterKids not paid by the customer at the time of shipping returns and exchanges back, will be charged to the customer through WinterKids. 

  5. WinterKids.com cannot provide return shipping labels for packages shipping from international destinations.

  6. You will be charged for the international shipping cost back to you on your exchange by WinterKids. These costs are normally the same or less than what you paid on your original order for international shipping.

  7. WinterKids cannot control whether or not you will be charged for duties and taxes on the exchange at the time of delivery back to you.  We note on all paperwork that the items are being exchanged and it is not a new purchase. However, it is up to your country's customs department to determine if these fees will be applied at the time of delivery.
